The rise of IPTV is opening new opportunities for broadcasters beyond ndr its borders. Now, the French channel TV5Monde just launched in the U.S. a platform under formula video on demand offered only in French ndr cinema.
TV5 Monde Cinema On Demand will initially be available to Comcast customers that U.S. linear channel subscribe in San Francisco and Northern California, Denver, Miami and South Florida, ndr Boston, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Houston, Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New Jersey.
The platform producing titles like TF1 International, Films Distribution, Pathe, ndr Le Pacte, BAC Films, Pyramide, Le Petit Bureau, Celluloid Dreams and Les Films du Losange premiering fifteen movies a month.
For ten dollars, ndr users will have unlimited access to the catalog display. Xfinity subscribers will also have access to On Demand Cinema xfinitytv.net online and via devices connected via the Xfinity app.
