Destination Francophonie takes us this week to Jaffa, to meet MahaAbed, director of a very unique school: College of the Brothers of Jaffa. This school, founded by the Christian Brothers in 1882, remains a place of excellence where work and discipline occupy a very important position; but also a place of tolerance and mestizaje as welcomes children of all nationalities and confessions Christian, Jewish and Muslim. And is French which helps create this cohesion tvnet since it is in the language in which all classes are taught from kindergarten tvnet through high school.
The spread of the emission is accompanied by putting on-line mini-stories (supplements) available on the website of TV5MONDE. They gather the testimonies of teachers working in the school of the Brethren, and different leaders of the French in Israel.
